Summary of Experience:
Brian Berry joined LCI in 2018 and leads the organization’s finance and accounting operations. Brian has more than 20 years of strategic experience in business, finance, and operations management, working across multiple industries, with a proven track record in guiding organizations and strengthening financial and business performance.
Prior to joining LCI, Brian was the CFO for a long-term pharmaceutical company, where he negotiated and won new pharmaceutical contracts, and aggressively identified margin opportunities and operating expense reductions, all of which contributed to significantly increased profitability. Before that, he directed the operations and finances for a family of building products manufacturing and distribution companies, where he played a pivotal role in that company’s restructuring, creating three distinct product divisions functioning as separate profit centers. Before moving to Texas in 2006, Brian was the finance officer and elected treasurer for a municipal water district in Southern California, where he played a major role in the overall strategic management of municipal operations and bond agencies and made key contributions in planning a merger into a larger district.
Brian earned his MBA degree in Finance and Organizational Leadership from National University in San Diego and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1986 until 1991 and is a veteran of the 1991 Gulf War where he spent his final eight months of service, assigned to Marine helicopter squadrons, working in the Avionics Department, and earned a position by the Quality Assurance Department as a squadron quality inspector. He was awarded a Letter of Commendation by the Secretary of the Navy for designing and implementing the installation of a new navigation system into helicopters during Desert Storm.
